Getting Ready
& FAQs
-
Feeling comfortable and confident in your clothes is key. Start by choosing pieces that allow you to move freely and pose without feeling restricted. Also, pick clothes that look great in photos. One fun tip is to try on your outfits and snap some pics with your phone to see how they look on you.
If you're going for skirts or dresses, consider bringing along some shorts to wear underneath. And make sure that whatever you wear underneath won't be visible. If you're going for white clothes, just take a little extra care to ensure your undergarments won't show. We recommend bringing strapless bras for sleeveless tops and considering nude undergarments for the safest choice. You may consider pasties for trickier tops. Pro tip: Try on your outfits with your chosen undergarments. You don’t want to be surprised that your garments aren’t working the way you expected.
Once you've picked your outfits, it's time to add some accessories. Remember, less is more. While statement pieces are cool, let's stick to one per outfit. The goal is to highlight your natural beauty, so make sure you remain the star of your outfit!
-
We know you want your photos to be perfect, so lets try a few things to ensure a great photoshoot day.
To start, it's a good idea to get your clothes ready in the days before the photoshoot. This means ironing, steaming, or lint rolling your outfits. Doing this in advance will help reduce stress on the day of the shoot. Once your outfits are prepped, hang them up and transport them on hangers.
If you're doing your own hair and makeup, take some time before the shoot to pick out and practice your final looks. Keep in mind that makeup for photoshoots is a bit different from everyday makeup and may require more preparation. Also, since we live in a windy area, be sure to secure your hair properly to keep it in place.
The night before your photoshoot, gather your shoes, accessories, and undergarments for each outfit. Organize everything and double-check that you have all the elements ready to go.
Getting a good night's sleep before your shoot is essential. Make sure to rest well, as it will give you the energy you need for the day. Also, staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water will help you feel focused and energized.
If you have facial hair and plan to shave, do it the night before to allow any redness or irritation to subside. Take your time and shave carefully to avoid any cuts or razor burn.
It might feel silly, but take the time to practice your expressions in the mirror. This will help you feel more comfortable during your session.
Hope these tips help! Let us know if you have any questions.
-
First things first, take care of yourself. Drink plenty of water and have a good meal before your shoot. Double-check that you have everything you need and grab any last-minute items. Also, think about how you'll transport all your stuff to the photoshoot location.
Give yourself plenty of time to get ready and to arrive at the photoshoot spot. We want you to feel relaxed and not rushed. If things don't go exactly as planned, just take a couple of deep breaths and remember that everything will work out. We've got the expertise to handle any hiccups on the day.
If you're wearing makeup, don't forget to bring some for touch-ups.
Guys, take a little time to freshen up before the shoot. A bit of grooming can make your photos even better. And if you're coming straight from sports, take a moment to clean up and shower.
Most importantly, remember to have a fantastic day! Your mood will shine through in your photos, and we want you to feel comfortable and yourself.
